NEIGHBOURCHANGE collaborates with Pla De Barris
Pla de Barris is one of the most interesting initiatives in Europe dealing with neighbourhood planning and inequalities reduction. I spent this January in Barcelona to figure out how the research Project could collaborate with this initiative: from September 2018 I will collaborate with the consulting group of Pla de Barris that supporto the Barcelona Municipality in the design and management of this neighbourhood policy initative.
The collaboration is intended to work on the research question about governance innovation/institutional learning. The research will look at how local institutions change their governance frameworks as well as functioning being confronted with community based initiatives and with the impact of the welfare state constraints in the provision of urban services.
